Infants Visit Roker Beach
The infants have had their annual trip to Roker Beach and were blessed with beautiful weather. After a pleasant walk through the park down to the beach, the children were quick to start making sand castles. These were even bigger and better than last year’s! Before dinner, each class was given a safety talk by the RNLI so the children would always be aware of the dangers of going in the sea. After our picnic, we had a treasure hunt. The children worked hard, digging to find (most of) the coloured balls hidden in the sand. After a super day out, we headed back to school, happy, tired and with a few red faces! We would like to give a big thanks to all of the grownups who came to help us, your support is always much appreciated.
